Performance Analysis is a privately held engineering and design firm established in 1993, which is currently servicing the Professional Mo-torsports, Athletics and Automotive Aftermarket Industries. Performance Analysis is privately owned by, Mark Whitney, a Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years experience in motorsports and athletics safety. We focus on four areas in order to best service our customers. These four main areas include: product design, technical writing, engineering analysis and product manufacturing.
Product Design: We have consulted for many companies to develop products for different areas of motorsports and athletics. From radiator designs for dirt track racecars to thermal shielding products that mount on exhaust systems for racecars at 200 MPH. In athletics we have helped design on-body padding for professional football and hockey players to toe pads for beginning ballet dancers. Product design consult-ing has been the main focus of Performance Analysis for many years.
Technical Writing: Since 1993, Mark Whitney has written technical articles for magazines covering the racing industry and engineering pur-suits. These articles have been printed in Trackside Magazine, Dirt Late Model, Late Model Racer, Miami Engineer, Stock Car Racing and Circle Track Magazines.
Engineering Analysis: Others may call this Technical Analysis, but roughly defined it is using the Engineering discipline and current tools in the trade to solve problems or improve products and performance. Some of the tools that Performance Analysis has used in consulting for clients recently include Engine Analyzer Pro, Dynomation and SolidWorks.
Product Manufacturing: Working with multiple manufacturing facilities throughout the country, Performance Analysis can provide manufactur-ing solutions for many different products in Motorsports, Professional Athletics and other thermal control or impact dissipation related indus-tries.
Each of these areas of focus relies on our vast experience in the industries in which we work and our unmatched research capabilities to find the product, process or supplier to meet our customer’s needs.
